Tandoori Chicken

Hello friends.
We all love a good grilled tandoori recipe. be it a naan or chicken.
So today let try to bring those smokey flavours to our kitchen with this simple yet delicious Tandoori chicken recipe. lets get started.

Ingredients:
Chicken 2 legs
Curd 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Chilly Powder 2 tbsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Garam masal 1 tsp
Methi leaves
Salt
Lemon juice
Oil

Lets cook:

  • Clean the chicken and remove the skin.
  • Make slits till the bone on the chicken for the masalas to marinate.
  • In a bowl add curd and whisk to form a smooth cream like texture.
  • Add all the ingredients to the curd except for oil and mix into a smooth paste.
  • Add chicken and marinate it for atleast 4-6 hours. best if left for overnight.
  • Pre-heat the oven for 400 F.
  • Add the marinated chicken to the grill pan and add oil to both sides of the chicken.
  • Cook the Chicken for 30-35 min at 400 F
  • Take them out and flip them in midway.
  • Once cooked, slightly roast them in a tawa for 2-3 mins to get the charred effect.
  • Serve hot with a side of Mint chutney.
